Agero is a leading provider of connected vehicle solutions, roadside assistance and claims management.

Agero (pronounced Ah-JEH-roh, from the Latin word agere: to do, to lead, to drive) was the result of a merger between Cross Country Automotive Services, a leader for nearly four decades in driver assistance programs, and its subsidiary ATX Group, a pioneer in connected vehicle (telematics) services. Its proprietary customizable roadside assistance platform VehicleAssist™ is a white-labeled, omnichannel technologic solution that fully integrates with several car manufacturers, including Hyundai Motors.

With our creative partners at Popkitchen, we were brought in to support CMN on developing an identity and a complete brand. With Agero, our challenge was to create a system for the newly renamed company and its market-leading suite of services. We created an emblem that felt natural within the automotive sector and also served as a "pin" that could easily illustrate its company’s services to its automotive partners. Our concept below was the launching off point for the final rebrand.

After our support on this project and through the brand guidance provided by CMN in 2013, Agero sold its Connected Vehicle Division to Sirius XM radio for $530 million.
