Blue State Coffee
Blue State Coffee has proudly built a following with its artisanal product and mission-driven culture.
Blue State Coffee is a family-owned, mission-driven artisanal coffee company. Since its inception in July of 2007, it has sourced and roasted high-quality fairly-traded coffees and donated a portion of each sale toward local non-profit organizations. In the store, each customer votes on the non-profit they would like their purchase to support based on four options that alternate over the course of the year. The winner of customer votes receives a donation after a six-month period.
In 2009, Blue State Coffee brought us in to help design its brand experiences on the web, including signage and packaging systems. We proudly worked with Blue State Coffee to create signage that explained its philanthropic culture and mission. We then created a series of simple, silver package designs that defined product attributes and company culture. Finally, we built a web presence that aligned with all branded collateral.
